As with Caruso and the "Golden Age" of voice, so it is with Benvenuto Cellini,
Briccialdi, and Theobold Boehm. All studied in the Bel Canto style.
In the Bel Canto Flute Classroom, you will learn to spin the superb flute line that
projects easily over a full orchestra...

"I play
more from the heart since I started lessons with Frederick. He focuses on the bigger picture -
The overall effect the music has on the listener
and the smaller details fall into place naturally.
Frederick will perform with Dean Torrence (Jan and Dean) and the
Song of Angels Flute Orchestra in the upcoming "Home for the Brave" Concert at the Alexandra Nechita Center for the
Arts
Frederick
has helped me greatly with my dynamic range, my use of tone colors as well as my
embouchure.
I have
always struggled with getting a brighter sound that projects more, but with Frederick's guidance
and teaching, I'm playing the flute the way I've always wanted to, and I sound more and more refined each day!"

Song of
Angels Flute Orchestra

The Song
of the Angels Flute Orchestra is a Los Angeles based professional flute choir dedicated to
bringing joy and comfort to others through beautiful music. In addition to performing romantic flute choir
classics, this flute orchestra concentrates much of its attention on taking well-known orchestral works and
re-arranging them for flute orchestra, both for performance and publication. Another particularly unique
feature of this flute choir is its full use of the lowest members of the flute family - the contrabass,
sub/f-bass and double contrabass flutes. This flute choir has among it's members one of only four double
contrabass flutes in the world!
